Event ID: 17055 - Backups fail 3041

Backups fail to create on local disk or get to ~75MB in
size and fail. 4.5GB free. DB is ~500MB. Error in
Application log is:
Description:
3041 :
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE
[MSDS] TO DISK = N'C:\DATA\MSSQL\MSSQL$SQLP05
\BACKUP\MSDS_db_200408241628.BAK' WITH INIT ,
NOUNLOAD , NOSKIP , STATS = 10, NOFORMAT
Any input would be great. Thanks.I get the same error if there is not enough space left for backup on the
disk drives.
When you say 500Mb is that the file size or the data size?
Regards
Jonas
